About HoneyBees for Heroes
Honeybees for Heroes is a newly established non-profit that is supporting the Veteran and First Responder community in and around Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Beekeeping is an opportunity for Veterans and First Responders to get involved in a hobby that is rewarding in many ways. Beekeeping provides purpose with skills that stay with you for a lifetime. Beekeeping is an important aspect in helping save our honeybee population, together people and honeybees can help each other.
Our focus in this program is to learn to maintain a healthy and thriving hobby Apiary while preventing suicide. Also provide the potential opportunities work with a commercial beekeeper for possible employment opportunities.
